We recently held a photoshoot at one of our favorite Tulsa diners, the Dilly Diner, and it was so much fun! We partnered up with our friends at Black Sheep Boutique who sent the adorable Jayne. I had the best time styling her in over ten unique eyewear looks for this photoshoot. I have published some of my favorites in this post including a shot of myself wearing a great looking Tom Davies frame. Don't be afraid to play with color in your wardrobe. This pink cat eye looks amazing when paired with denim. Shown above: Dyker Heights by Born In Brooklyn A matte black frame can be so versatile. It looks great dressed up, or when you are sporting...
Simple and elegant. Meet Euclid by Leisure Society. The thing I noticed first about this frame is that the beta titanium temples make for a very comfortable fit. I was happy to see that designer Shane Baum included beta titanium temples in several styles in the recent release. The model I am wearing is plated with 12K silver to give it that fine quality and finish you would expect from your jewelry. Only the best craftsmanship from Leisure Society.
If you set out to design a gorgeous cat eye you might use titanium and adorn it in 18K Rose Gold plating. Then you would add a touch of blush along the brow line, and set the lenses inside the shape using reverse rimless floating lens technology that can only be appreciated from viewing the frame up close. Go ahead. Look closely, and you will see all the beautiful details that come together to make the Satie by Leisure Society. Satie would be your end result of your quest to design a gorgeous metal cat-eye frame. Well, lucky for you and for me this design has already been created by Shane Baum.
Are you looking for a damn good looking metal frame to update your eyewear wardrobe? The Savoye by Leisure Society is inspired by 1970's eyewear style, and also by the Villa Savoye, a modernist architectural villa on the outskirts of Paris designed by famous architect Le Corbusier. I love the look of the flat lenses, and that they are held in place by reverse rimless floating lens technology. This look is in stock at our store and is available in both optical and sunglasses.
Create a small rounded aviator shape, design it as a 'frame within a frame' using two pieces of titanium, name it after astronomer Alexis Clairaut, and you end up with a futuristic looking design that is also something perhaps the Great Gatsby would have been comfortable wearing. Clairaut is made from titanium and plated with 18K gold. Purely exquisite. Leisure Society eyewear is available exclusively in our Utica Square store.
